General Likes

• I love hurt/comfort tropes (both physical hurt and emotional hurt).
• I love a wide range of tones, including (but not limited to) angsty, sad & miserable, joyful & happy, terrifying, and whimsical.
• Terrible circumstances creating tight bonds between people.
• All kinds of friendships e.g. lifelong best friends, belligerent/reluctant friendships, and everything in between.
• Family dynamics, from chill and happy to dysfunctional and strained (and everything in between).
• Found/chosen families.
• For shippy stuff, I love hurt/comfort, kissing, UST, situational forced proximity (e.g. bed sharing, hiding in a closet, etc), established relationships, casual affection. For crossover ships, I love implied backstory.
• Bizarre, cracky premises taken seriously.
• Worldbuilding.
• Fic specific: I have a strong preference for third person narration, even if the source material is in first person. Past and present tense are both fine.
• Art specific: I don’t have stylistic preferences, but I do have prompts and suggestions and what is hopefully some helpful guidance in the fandom specific sections!
• Crossover specific: I love both working out how the two worlds in a crossover combine, and I also love fic where it’s just taken for granted that the two worlds belong together. Whichever one fits the story you’re trying to tell sounds great.

• Explicit sex. I'm fine with sex happening, but I’d prefer no porny scenes or anything you'd need to warn for (e.g. noncon). If in doubt, a fade to black is fine!
• Excessive gore. Canon-level violence is totally fine. (E.g. references to torture in a Hunger Games setting is fine, but I'd rather not be walked through graphic detail of the torture step-by-step.)

Crossovers! \o/ Crossovers are one of my favourite things ever, I can’t get enough of them.

Phoebe Buffay (Friends) & Anne Shirley (Anne of Green Gables)

Anne and Phoebe could have such a delightful friendship! The ways that they’re similar to each other plus the ways that they differ (e.g. Phoebe has an edge that Anne doesn’t) would make them such an interesting combo to read about. Maybe they were childhood friends — maybe they were enthralled by Science Boy together. Maybe they met through work somehow. I’d be more interested in bringing Anne to New York City (and the ways that changes her and/or doesn’t change her at all) than bringing Phoebe to Avonlea, but I’m open to whatever you want to do with their ages. De-age Phoebe and have them both young? Adult Anne and adult Phoebe? Child Anne and adult Phoebe? This friendship would delight me whatever their ages, so go with whatever takes your fancy.

Phoebe Buffay (Friends) & Mozzie (White Collar)

Friends implies that there’s so much to Phoebe that we never see, and I’d love to read about some kind of relationship between her and Mozzie. What sort of role do they play in each others lives? Are they friends who pull some sort of con together, whether small-time or huge? Or are they rivals forced to work together somehow, or facing off against each other? If you want to go same-actor-is-the-same-character route, is Willie Garson’s character from The One with the Girl Who Hits Joey actually Mozzie? These canons are set in different decades, and I’m fine with both handwaving that away or making it part of the fic (i.e. if Phoebe is friends with Mozzie-in-the-90s instead of White-Collar-era Mozzie, or vice versa).

I’m really into the idea of unusual-but-weirdly-makes-sense future lives for Baby-Sitters Club characters, and crossing over BSC with White Collar really taps into this for me. I love the idea of Claudia and Janine being close as adults, and also being a forgery team together! Claudia bringing her artistic skill and Janine bringing her scientific knowledge. What if the Kishi sisters were in touch with Neal and/or Mozzie? Do they have a history of working together or have they newly met? What do Neal and/or Mozzie need from them? How do they react to Mozzie’s idiosyncrasies, or to Neal’s charm?

Aged-up Claudia Kishi and Neal Caffrey would be so much fun. Art! So much art! Is Claudia legitimately working in the art world in some way, or is she involved in forgery/theft/some other crime? Is her relationship with Neal friendship, professional, rivalry, flirtatious friendship, or straight up romance? What do they like about each other? What bugs them about each other?

Lorelai Gilmore (Gilmore Girls) & Johanna Mason (Hunger Games)

I’m not interested in moving Johanna over to Stars Hollow, but I love putting characters into a Hunger Games setting who are from canons with a very different tone. Putting Gilmore Girls characters into a world that’s so bleak is a big shift, and I'd love seeing how this would change/not change who Lorelai is, and the sorts of decisions she makes. I also think Lorelai and Johanna would be a really interesting combination. Neither of them like to be vulnerable, but both of them can be very vulnerable, and they’d both stop at nothing to do what they have to for survival. In what context do they know each other? Are they both Victors? Maybe they were both mentoring tributes during Katniss and Peeta’s games. Or maybe they’re both from District Seven, and one of them mentored the other. Or maybe Lorelai was part of Johanna’s games and didn’t survive. Or maybe Lorelai was one of the unnamed Victors reaped into the third Quarter Quell. (Side note, I’m fine with major character death in Hunger Games contexts.)

Anne Shirley and the world inside her head is one of those things that’s just perfect for art! <3 I really love the idea of art for Anne and one of her imaginary friends. I’d love something that shows Katie or Violetta as Anne sees them — a very real source of friendship and comfort during a really awful time of her life. I’d love to see how an artist would make one of these friendships into something visible!

For my requests with various & combinations of Kristy, Mary Anne, Claudia, Stacey, Dawn, Mallory, and Jessi, I’d honestly love any combination of these girls, whether specifically requested in the above list or not. Maybe something slice-of-life, like walking home from school, or a club meeting in Claudia’s room (Claudia hunting for candy! Kristy presiding over things in the director’s chair! Mallory and Jessi making gum wrapper chains!) or hanging out at the lockers, or Kristy gleefully grossing out her friends in the cafeteria. Maybe they're setting up for some kind of party in the barn, or painting a mural (if you want to include any random younger siblings or baby-sitting charges you’re welcome to do that too). Claudia and her art might be fun! Maybe art of her creating a portrait of one of the other girls? I’d be totally open to something at Sea City or Shadow Lake too! Or I would also enjoy something that just straight up focuses on fashion — each of their particular styles is such a big part of the books, so art that focuses on that would be really fun.

I’d love to see fun sibling times with these guys! For the Thomases, I’d love to see something slice-of-life with them goofing off together. Maybe washing the Junk Bucket? Or a water fight, with water balloons/a hose/water guns? (Idk, it’s really hot today, apparently my brain can only think up outdoor water-related activities. You’re not limited to that though!) For Jessi and Becca, I’d also love art of them hanging out and having fun. Maybe Jessi teaching Becca some ballet, or maybe reading a book together, or maybe Jessi joining in some imagination-based game Becca's playing?
